A man was found dead after a house fire northwest of Wadena early Monday, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. Officials said they received a report of a structure fire in the 37000 block of County Highway 75 just before 4 a.m. on March 9, 2026. When crews arrived, a deceased male was located inside the home. The cause of death remains under investigation, but authorities said they do not believe foul play is involved at this time. The home is considered a total loss. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating.
