At approximately 5:17 p.m., Sunday February 22, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office as well as multiple local fire departments responded to a structure fire in the 34000 block of County Highway 14 in Richville. Upon arrival the residence was fully engulfed. Firefighters were able to control the fire and extinguish it. The residence was deemed a total loss. All occupants of the residence as well as pets were able to escape the structure safely. One of the four occupants was evaluated by EMS on scene and later released. No foul play is suspected and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
